Here is another one recorded at the Snow White Cottage in Los Angeles. I'm playing most of the instruments. Rhodes piano, guitars, bass, and percussion. Bryan Head stopped by and added a djembe track. I had Eric Hargett and Dave Patel play the woodwind and brass parts, respectively.

I took the tracks to Tom Rogers, who had his Atomix studios set up in the old Wilder Bros studio on Santa Monica Blvd. Tom mixed and mastered.

I've always sort of felt like a father singing to a child in this song. Just about how the world might seem hard and dark, but in the end, the good guys will win. Something like that...

Again, it's pay what you want. Feels like 50 cents to a buck is a fair amount these days.

Thanks, hope you like it.

One mother hum a summer song
as light as the day is long
Those humble folk can't fold a note
But they're just as well as the rich folk
Though the load may undertow,
all and all, in kind,
There is a will to truth my friend,
and it turns on the wheel of time
It turns on the wheel of time

Down in a hole a coal man ho
pining his mother's home
As long as the bird can hold his note
he'll be back there tomorrow
Though the day is long and dark,
bye and bye a light
There is a spark of hope, that's right
and it turns on the wheel of time
It turns on the wheel of time

Time is pulling heavy on tomorrow
Heave and hoeing at the tow
Oh, I know it grinds, but the wheel is wise

Under a stone a soldier holds,
counting his only toes
That lowly grunt don't hold a grudge,
he just went in 'cause his dad was
Though the skyline's burning bright
hell or high tonight
there is peace on earth in sight, and it turns on the wheel of tiem
It turns on the wheel of time
